Norberto Irungaray and his two sons Norbert Jr. and Gerard founded Triple I Press, LLC in August of 1999, but the family has been involved agriculture for years before. Norberto is an immigrant of the Basque country in Spain. He moved to the United States in December of 1967, where he later became a citizen. He was only 17 and came to the US on a work visa as a sheepherder. He was a sheepherder for years before he moved on to owning his own harobed, a hay boom, a hay squeeze and trucks for local hauling before he founded Triple I Press, LLC. None of this came easy; it was through hard work and sacrifice that his dream of owning a family business came true. In January of 1975 Norberto married Patricia who was born and raised in the agricultural business as well. Patty was the daughter of a local farmer who grew a lot of the same crops that Triple I does today.
